Everyone Together Listserv
Everyone Together Michigan is the official statewide listserv/discussion forum for the Everyone Together project.
We support the concept of Universal Education: “An approach to education that creates learning environments which are inherently designed for diversity, thus making natural educational settings accessible to all children, all together, all the time.”
At its core the project is about including children with disabilities in general education settings; however we truly believe that all means ALL.
Children should not be segregated based on race, religion, ability or disability, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or for any other human characteristic.
This listserv does not exist to debate the above belief, but to promote it. Our interest is not to determine 'whether' this is a worthy goal, but rather to have conversation and share ideas about how to make the dream of 'all children, all together, all the time' a reality in our state.
